Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Last Updated: August 30, 2026

Welcome to GroupsWA (“GroupsWA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a community-group discovery and directory website available at https://groupswa.com.

GroupsWA helps users discover publicly available invitation links to independently operated online communities and messaging groups. By accessing or using GroupsWA, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website.

1. Our Service

GroupsWA is a directory and discovery platform. We may list publicly available invitation links and information relating to third-party communities on messaging and social platforms.

The groups and communities listed on GroupsWA are generally operated by their respective administrators or by third parties.

GroupsWA does not create, own, operate, control, or moderate the third-party groups listed on our website.

When you click a “Join Group” or similar button, you may leave GroupsWA and access a third-party website, application, messaging service, or community.

Your use of those third-party services is subject to their own terms, privacy policies and community rules.

2. Third-Party Group Content

Group names, descriptions, invitation links, images, categories and other information relating to third-party communities may be submitted by users or obtained from publicly available sources.

The presence of a group on GroupsWA does not mean that GroupsWA:

  • owns or operates the group;

  • endorses or sponsors the group;

  • has any affiliation with the group or its administrators;

  • approves all content posted within the group; or

  • guarantees the accuracy, safety, legality or suitability of the group.

Users should independently evaluate a group before joining it.

3. User Submissions

Users may submit publicly available group information or invitation links through GroupsWA’s submission process.

By submitting content, you represent that:

  • you have the right or authorization to submit the information;

  • the submission does not knowingly violate applicable law or another person’s rights;

  • the information is not knowingly fraudulent, malicious or misleading; and

  • the submission does not contain prohibited material described in our Community Guidelines.

Submitting a group does not guarantee publication.

GroupsWA may accept, reject, edit, categorize, restrict, unpublish or remove a submission at its discretion, including where we believe that doing so is necessary for safety, legal compliance, policy compliance, user protection or website integrity.

4. Content Moderation and Review

Safety and responsible moderation are important priorities at GroupsWA.

GroupsWA maintains a moderation process designed to reduce the presence of prohibited, illegal, harmful or inappropriate group listings.

Where applicable, submitted group listings may undergo manual review before publication. Our review may consider the submitted URL, group title, description, category, available public information and other signals relevant to safety and policy compliance.

However, third-party groups can change after a listing has been reviewed. GroupsWA does not control the content subsequently published inside those external communities.

For this reason, GroupsWA also provides a Report Group mechanism through which users can report potentially problematic listings.

Reported listings may be reviewed and may be removed, restricted, unpublished or otherwise actioned when they violate our policies or applicable requirements.

We may also proactively review or remove listings when we identify potential safety, legal, copyright, privacy, advertising-policy or other compliance concerns.

5. Prohibited Content and Activities

GroupsWA does not knowingly permit or promote listings that facilitate or promote unlawful, abusive, exploitative or harmful activity.

Prohibited categories include, but are not limited to:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexual exploitation of minors;

  • grooming, sexual exploitation or trafficking of minors;

  • illegal activities or services;

  • terrorism or violent extremist activity;

  • credible threats or promotion of violence;

  • graphic or excessively shocking violent content;

  • non-consensual intimate or sexual content;

  • harassment, threats or targeted abuse;

  • doxxing or unauthorized disclosure of personal information;

  • stalking or unauthorized surveillance;

  • fraud, scams, phishing or deceptive schemes;

  • malware, malicious software or unauthorized access;

  • copyright or trademark infringement;

  • counterfeit or unlawful goods or services;

  • content that exploits or endangers individuals;

  • spam or deceptive promotional activity; and

  • other content or activities prohibited by applicable law or GroupsWA policies.

GroupsWA does not endorse, encourage or knowingly facilitate such activities.

Our policies may prohibit additional categories of content even where the content is not necessarily unlawful.

6. Reporting a Group

If you believe a listed group contains prohibited, illegal, abusive, misleading or infringing content, please use the Report Group feature available on GroupsWA or contact us through our designated reporting channel.

Reports may concern, among other things:

  • illegal activity;

  • CSAM or child exploitation;

  • violence or threats;

  • doxxing or disclosure of personal information;

  • harassment or abuse;

  • copyright or trademark concerns;

  • scams or fraud;

  • malware or malicious activity;

  • spam;

  • misleading information; or

  • other policy violations.

Reports are reviewed according to the nature and seriousness of the issue.

Where a report presents a credible and serious safety, legal or policy concern, GroupsWA may temporarily or permanently remove, restrict or disable the listing while the matter is reviewed.

Where appropriate or legally required, GroupsWA may cooperate with competent authorities or rights holders.

7. Copyright and Intellectual Property

GroupsWA respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe that content or a listing on GroupsWA infringes your copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with sufficient information for us to investigate the complaint.

GroupsWA may remove or restrict access to material that we reasonably believe infringes applicable intellectual property rights or violates our policies.

False, fraudulent or abusive copyright complaints may be rejected.

8. Personal Information and Privacy

GroupsWA respects user privacy.

Our collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Users should not submit personal, confidential or sensitive information belonging to another person without a lawful basis or authorization.

GroupsWA prohibits listings that facilitate doxxing, unauthorized disclosure of personal information, stalking, harassment or similar privacy violations.

9. Third-Party Platforms and Links

GroupsWA may link to third-party platforms including, but not limited to, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Session, Viber, WeChat, LINE and other messaging or community platforms.

These platforms are independent third parties.

GroupsWA does not control their services, policies, security practices, availability, content or community moderation.

Once you leave GroupsWA and access a third-party platform, your interaction is governed by that platform’s own terms and policies.

10. No Guarantee of Third-Party Content

GroupsWA attempts to maintain accurate and useful directory information, but we cannot guarantee that every third-party group:

  • remains active;

  • remains available;

  • is accurately described;

  • remains suitable for every user;

  • remains free from prohibited content; or

  • continues to follow the rules that applied when it was reviewed.

Third-party communities may change without notice.

11. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • use GroupsWA for unlawful purposes;

  • attempt to interfere with or disrupt the website;

  • introduce malicious software or harmful code;

  • scrape or systematically copy GroupsWA content in a manner that violates our policies or applicable law;

  • impersonate GroupsWA or falsely claim an affiliation with us;

  • abuse the reporting or submission systems;

  • submit knowingly fraudulent or malicious information; or

  • attempt to circumvent reasonable security or access controls.

12. Intellectual Property of GroupsWA

Unless otherwise stated, the GroupsWA website, including its original design, branding, text, graphics, software, layout and other original materials, belongs to GroupsWA or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-party trademarks, platform names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing on GroupsWA should be interpreted as creating an affiliation, partnership or endorsement by any third-party platform unless expressly stated.

13. Availability of the Website

GroupsWA may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or its features at any time.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

14. Disclaimer

GroupsWA provides its directory and website on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and appropriate listings, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, safety or continued availability of third-party groups or information.

Users are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment before joining or interacting with an external community.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GroupsWA and its operators will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from:

  • third-party groups or their content;

  • interactions between users and third parties;

  • use of third-party messaging platforms;

  • inaccurate or outdated third-party information;

  • third-party services becoming unavailable;

  • unauthorized conduct of third parties; or

  • a user’s decision to join or interact with an external community.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless GroupsWA and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable expenses arising from the user’s unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, misuse of the website, or infringement of another person’s rights.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, policies, legal requirements or operational practices.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
